UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT GOVERNMENT

Dear Fellow Students,

Thank you for letting me introduce myself to you. My name is David Gasser and I am a first-year chemical engineering major from Toledo, Ohio. I was involved in a number of activities and organizations in high school, including National Honor Society and Student Council. I was the Secretary of my class for three years in high school and helped plan a number events, including the Homecoming Parade and our winter formal. As the President of our chapter of the National Honor Society, I planned and led a number of community service events.

I believe my experiences demonstrate that I have shown the leadership necessary to represent you in the Undergraduate Student Government. As your representative, I hope to communicate your concerns, comments, and questions and get answers. Whether it's in the residence hall lobby or just walking to class, I'll make sure I listen to your perspective and ask for your input. I hope you choose me to be your representative to the Undergraduate Student Government and I look forward to working with all of you to make our first-year the best it can be.
